Job Description:
Both laboratory and field materials testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, etc. on public & private projects in northern Nevada. Flexible hours, night shifts possible for certain construction activities (especially during the summer). If currently a student, part-time during school (very flexible), full-time during breaks/summer.
Job Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug test. Good attitude, work ethic, and communication skills. Ability to work remotely (in and out of the office) from the established CME office in Reno, Nevada.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with a dedication to the quality control and quality assurance process.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues to the Project Manager and clients.
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Team player willing to work with clients and CME staff.
- MUST be able to pass a drug test and possess a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills:
- Current ACI and/or NAQTC certifications preferred.
- Experience with lab/field testing of soil, asphalt, concrete and steel.
- Knowledge and use of iPads, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Adobe Acrobat.
