Job Description: We are seeking experienced ICC-certified Special Inspectors to perform inspection and testing services for public works, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects throughout Northern Nevada. Inspectors will conduct code-compliant inspections in one or more disciplines, such as Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Post-Installed Anchors, Structural Steel & Bolting, Fireproofing and Commercial Building. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret plans, specifications, and building codes. Work assignments include field inspections, reinforcement verification, structural observations, and documentation of contractor compliance. Inspectors must be able to communicate findings clearly to project managers, contractors, and agency personnel, and must uphold CME’s commitment to quality assurance and responsive service. The ability to perform density testing and concrete testing is preferrable. Job Requirements:
- Current ICC certifications in one or more Special Inspection disciplines (e.g., Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Structural Steel & Bolting, Post-Installed Anchors, Fireproofing, Commercial Building).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, structural details, and project specifications.
