CME’s geotechnical group of professional civil engineers hold active licenses in California, Nevada, and Utah. Our diverse geotechnical staff has grown to five licensed professional engineers with geotechnical design backgrounds ranging from private sector engineering consulting to public sector engineering design. As development in the Northern Nevada area continues to increase, the complexities of construction increase as the new development transects areas that were historically avoided due to the complex geologic conditions such as collapsible soil, sensitive clays, steep slopes, and deep-cut/fill transitions.
CME’s knowledgeable geotechnical staff utilizes several engineering design software packages to provide our clients with technologically advanced and efficient design solutions to navigate the most current agency design requirements, building code updates for a multitude of project types, and to assist in finding effective geotechnical solutions for the development of difficult sites.
