American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and American Public Works Association (APWA) teamed up for a holiday luncheon to support the local charity, Kids Kottage. CME is a proud member of both the ASCE and APWA organizations and were happy to be a part of the luncheon to learn about and support Kids Kottage.
The Kids Kottage Shelter provides temporary care for Washoe County’s abused and neglected children until they can safely be returned to their families or placed in a foster home. At Kids Kottage, children are given medical, mental health, and educational evaluations and support to ensure their needs are met. The organization is always looking for in-kind donations to benefit children in the Kids Kottage program. Please refer to the flyer for some example items that the kids need regularly.
