CME is a proud member of APWA, and this year’s fall conference, held in South Lake Tahoe, focused on the “Works” awakening happening in Nevada and across the country. Industry and population growth in the area is prompting public works officials and private consultants to work together to address the current and future infrastructure needs.
This year, CME’s own Jon Del Santo was the conference chair, delivering an event-filled conference. The conference was three days of educational programming, vendor awareness, and networking events to learn about the latest innovations, exchange ideas, and develop new business relationships. Twenty six vendors showcased their company’s services and skills, and 30 speakers fueled technical sessions on topics such as autonomous vehicles, public outreach techniques on high-profile construction projects, and plans for local development projects.
